How to get my hair all one shade?

From years of dying I have dark dark brown nearly black at the bottom of my hair, and fades up to a medium/dark brown with a tinge of red at the top of my hair (chestnutish). I would like to remove some dark pigment from the bottom of my hair and make the top of my hair slightly darker. I understand to get the top darker I will need to dye it, but how can I take the pigment out of the bottom without frying my hair? It only needs to be lightened a tiny bit. Ive trying dye removal products, they did nothing. Should a put some peroxide on the bottom for a half hour or something? Lemon juice? Froster kit? I don't have the money to go to a salon. My hair is usually pretty good about staying soft and silky no matter what I do to it: dyes, dye removal, curling, straightening, blow drying ect. Your advice?

Why is our 4 year old Cocker Spaniel losing teeth?

I'm thinking of learning to make my own home-made mineral make-up. I've seen some good videos on youtube, but they seem to all be in the USA so the websites they recommend are USA ones. With my last I was sick up until about 18 weeks. It went away and then towards the last week a little nausea but it was horrible. I lived on ginger ale and crackers. I am a a teen girl. On friday my stomach began to hurt. I was taking prednisone prescribed to me and it was listed as a side effect. I ignored it and ate normally as I would. I then had sushi from a place i had never had it from. My stomach then continued to hurt and I developed diarrhea. I couldn't sleep friday night. All of saturday I had frequent visits to the bathroom and sat on the couch all day. On sunday the same happened but the stool became more watery and appeared mucusy. At a point I saw specks of blood! Right now i go into the bathroom and nothing come out except for the gross watery mucus. :O Im freaking out should i tell my mom? If so how? Are these normal symptoms of diarrhea? On Sat. i ate and drank almost nothing. On sunday i had a sandwich and that went fine. today I've had crackers 3 glasses of water a sandwich and a cup of cereal. What disease do I have? Is this just a reaction to the sushi i ate? Please help i need to better by tomorrow i have soccer camp that we already paid for. I am getting tired of this I have been home since friday :( so far this summer stinks. this is a serious question easy 10 points i know a lot of questions but I'm really worried! Please help. Any good quality paint will smell ok providing you have carried out thorough preparation prior to painting. To get rid of nicotine staining and odour you need to wash down the ceiling walls and wood with a propriety cleaner such as Mangers sugar soap etc, if surfaces are still very stained after this you may need to seal with a stain block sealer befor applying the finishing paint. Sounds like a lot of hard work but should be worth it in the end and it will smell sweet!

Questioning my doctor's expertise, can anyone help?

Today I went for a physical with my family doctor. He's a good doctor in the sense that he's compassionate and listens instead of rushing me out the door, but I feel that sometimes he dismisses questions that I have claiming "that's just the way you are" and things like that when I have serious concerns, and it frustrates me. For example, I was telling him that I've been having numbness in my legs pretty frequently lately and it feels like I may have a circulation problem. He looked concerned at first and then felt my legs asking if I felt any pain, and when I said no he said "Well I don't see that it's an issue then". Also, I have these very prominent white spots all over my arms and legs. I've heard that it could be either a pigment deficiency or some type of fungus, and when I asked him he just looked at it and said "no, that's just the way you are". Am I asking stupid questions or something? I feel like he's treating me like a hypochondriac when I hardly even go to the doctor. Should I listen to him and dismiss it or get a second opinion? He won't send me to a dermatologist for the white spots. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

So, in November, I started taking a drug similar to Accutane. I finished it in April, and the results were great! I don't get zits or cystic pimples anymore. Yet, there are these deep purplish red marks left over. It wouldn't bother me so much, but there is one right on the tip of my nose. Its the darkest one of all, and it is sort of raised. I can't cover it up with makeup, because its just SO pigmented, and it is super dry around that area. To make it worse there is a smaller one coming in behind it where I have NEVER had a zit? I talked to my 70 year old dermatologist about it and he said it was like ashes after the fire? That they would go away in a month or two. Obviously he was wrong. So, should I go see a difference dermatologist about it?

My cat uses a litter box and she has never urinated or defecated outside of it. However, she doesn't cover her scat. Instead, she'll just scratch the walls of the litter box (for at least five minutes), or paw at the litter and move it around a little. I adopted her from a shelter where she was brought in at a month old, without a mother, and from what I've read, kittens learn from their mothers how to cover their scat. My conclusion at this point is that she never got a chance to learn how to do that, so I would like to teach her. I know, it sounds weird, but sometimes she can really stink up the house after a really big poop, and it would just make life a little easier (and less smelly) if she could learn that. okay, firstly, what colour eyes do you have, and do you want to emphasize that? I have green eyes, and I find that bronze looks great with my eye colour. Blue eyes look good with warm rust tones, Brown with blues. If you have a dark skin tone, you can get away with more vibrant, metallic colours, but if you're pale, it can look kind of weird. I don't use MAC ever, so I dont know about the lipstick, but I'd recommend a sheer red gloss. this always shows and isnt harsh like a red lipstick, and be pretty light looking on your face

Are the cards going to be OK?

A friend of mine is cleaning out his house and he gave me a bunch of baseball cards from 1980 to the early 1990's. One problem: the cards are in the vinyl pages that have pvc in them which is unsafe for the cards. I gave away the cards that looked like there was already damage on them such as bubbling on the surface of the card or discoloring and kept the ones that look fine but the ones I kept still stink from being in the pages. Why is my dog suddenly panting,Shaking,and unable to hardly move?

My dog is a Bassethound 7 years old. He randomly couldn't make it up the stairs and started panting and shaking uncontrollably. He stinks and his eyes are red. He is fine 10 minutes later until we have him walk again. He has no appetite and will not drink water on his own. But has a normal temperature.What is wrong with him? I have a coworker who is female so am I she comes around me and wants me to talk to her but she doesn't like me. Darker spot on Birthmark?

I had a birth MOLE on my chest since I was born which was a pinkish-orange color (I'm white, so it was close to my skin color). A dark brown spot started forming right in the center of it when i was like 13, but I never thought much of it. I wanted to get the mole removed, because it always showed when i was in my swimsuit (I'm a competitive swimmer) and it was ugly looking. The dermatologist was concerned about the mark in the center, and decided to take it immediately off because it could be cancerous. What other bugs have egg capsules?

I just found an egg capsule in my basement laundry room and I am starting to freak out a bit. In our previous apartment we had german cockroaches. The landlords were finally able find an exterminator to get rid to rid of them and we had not seen a sign of them for almost a year before we moved from there. We have now been in this new rental house for 5 months and I have never seen a sign of them, but I found an egg capsule today as I moved a pile of moist towels in my laundry room. The egg capsule looked pretty much the same as I would find before. With each internet search 'egg capsule' pretty much bring up cockroaches. Are there not other bugs that have that same look of egg capsule??? I live in Utah, dry humid climate. Mostpeople were surprised that we had cockroachs in this area before. The bugs I have noticed the most in our yard are earwigs, stink bugs, and others. I sure hope that the egg capsule could have been from ANY other bug!

I'm 5dpo and I've been having cramps lately. I made me some food, didn't wasn't really craving it but I was hungry, ate two bits and said forget it. Which is weird cause I love scrambled eggs. I've had a lot of cm today, never had this much before. I have my septom pierced for over a year now, I never smelt it before, but now it stinks so bad I had to take it out. Why does my neighbor's son do this to himself?

I'm not understanding this maybe I don't need to, but my neighbor's son who is 19 years old has horrible hygiene upkeep. In fact he makes it known he will wear the same pair of socks for weeks until you seem them turn black and smell bad. The same with clothes. He will wear the same pairs of clothes until dirty and smell for weeks along with that not ever shower. He's gone an entire month without showering before. He will end up smelling so bad to the point you have to get away by making an excuse to not talk to the neighbors. His odor is that offensive. Yet, he will complain all the time why he smells so bad and has athletes foot and says he's too lazy to shower etc. How can someone be that lazy for his hygiene to get that bad? My point in all of this is because my neighbors keep asking me why I do not talk to them anymore. It's not the mother's fault, but I just can't be around there anymore with how bad her son stinks. Small white spots on the outer skin of vagina?

I've always had chicken skin and have been checked for that, which is normal, but the last couple of months I have noticed 3 distinct white pigmented small circular marks on the skin of my vagina above the clitoris. HELP! My sons father is taking me to court for FULL CUSTODY!!?

I am 22 year old single mother of a 2 year old boy, my sons father is 23 years old and we both have shared custody of our son but here is the problem.. He is taking me to court for FULL CUSTODY I got a knock on my door at around 11AM in the morning from his LITTLE SISTER giving me court papers and I didn't handle it very well so I broke down crying infront of her and asking her why she stated for me to ask her brother. The papers showed that he filed for court on me on MAY 12, But I got the papers MAY 31st !!! He gave it to me late notice and court was about 26 days away from that date, I have court on June 30th at 11AM. I live in Canada Toronto, Ontario. I breastfed my son for 5 months, I lived with my mother since my son was 1 years old and then got my own apartment after that but before that i was living with my mother and she was helping me with everything, I took my son to all his doctors appointments, I had him full time since he was 3 months old and after that his father had him for the weekends I was nice enough to do that for him, He NEVER PAYED CHILD SUPPORT only until we had an incident that happened on my sons birthday when I punched my sons father in the face because he said something horrible to me that I couldn't take in, him and his sister both forcefully took me out of the car (his sisters car) and tried driving off wiht my son in the car I called the police and the call turned out on me because him and sister stated i punched him in the face while she was driving and me and my son were in the back seat. The police asked them if they wanted to press charges on me and they said No, and they asked if my sons father was paying child support and he said no and they said he needs to start! I am not going to lie and say that did not happen it did but i appologized but because she told the police that they got childrens aid involved but the lady came to my house hold and she seen that my apartment was CLEAN there was food in the FRIDGE AND CUBBOARDS, and that my son was well taken care of. I am not rich I am on assistant since I WAS a full time mother. in December my sons father took my son to MEXICO he begged me and I told him no (reason because i felt my son was to young of age and i was afraid of all the sickness or dangers he can go through) he got his parents who reside in Mexico to call me and I said yes because they were begging for about an hour on the phone) I signed the papers for him to leave the country just to be nice. before that in October 2010 he automatically took my son from me full time and put him in daycare without my consent! and I ended up having him on the weekends ever since and still do. I missed some weekends but only because I am looking for work! I haven't found work yet but I am trying and I want my son to be with me Mon-Fri and his fathers to have him on the weekends I am a good mother there is no reason for me to not have my son, I do not do drugs or alcohol or believe in abuse! He has money I am on welfare how will I win this case my sons fathers girlfirend (that he cheated on me with when i was 7 and half months pregnant is on the daycare papers and she picks my son up from daycare. I love the color "Virgin" from the Urban Decay Naked Palette, however they don't sell it on it's own. White skin patches caused by vitiligo?

For the past 3 years I have noticed white patches of skin appearing on my torso. I have slightly tanned skin but usually tan quite dark in the sun which makes the patches more obvious. I've tried various reccomendations such as selsun shampoo but have noticed no change. Does anybody else have or had this problem and knows a way of helping the skin pigments grow back during this case of vitiligo? By researching the condition I have discovered it can be quite difficult to completely return to normal but I am open to any options with regards to evening out my skin to make it a bit more subtle.....

You can mix pan and tube watercolors. The only difference between them is that the moisture content of the pan paint is greatly reduced. Tube paint uses a carrier to keep it moist. With pan paint you just pick up color with a wet brush. It is usually better to use paint from the same company, however; I have paint from several different companies and have not had a problem using them together. I use strictly tube paint, but that is personal preference.

if you bleach you're hair when you wash out you're hair it'll turn you're hair orange. When ever you bleach you're hair it's best to go with brown tones, blondes that don't have any red tones. You don't want to waist you're time fixing it again. Ok this is what i did to kind of get rid of the red tones. You have to have an ash brown, or beige brown so it can tone down the red tones and look more like a golden brown. If you want to go back to you're natural hair color stick with the dark brown to black to even out from the bleach to hide all color that was mixed in you're hair. Then you can wait for at least 6 months to a year to color whatever tone you want. or you can Go with loreal, for dark hair color ultra light ash brown, cooler. It'll lighten you're hair if you have dark tones. or light beige brown, cooler. Those hair colors are good for dark hair color and to even out or tone down red tones. >Do a sample on one strand if you see the result completly the result you like go for it. < oh sorry go with dark tones with red you don't want those tones to wash out into an orange tone if it's medium to light. yea it's good.

Sour lunch meat why does it happen?

why does lunch meat go sour? I thought it was filled with salt and nitrates and so on. Last Sat I bought a 1 pound of ham and a pound of chicken roll. I left them in in their palstic interleves and put them in a plastic dish and covered. My sons father is taking me to court for SOLE CUSTODY!!?

I am 22 years old (full time mother) to a 2 and half year old beautiful boy. I am on welfare and have a nice apartment (not housing) and I also get support from my mother she has been buying me groceries for 2 and half years since my sons father refuses to pay child support. My sons father is 23 years old and has A lot of money, he has a lawyer and I don't and HE FILED COURT ON ME! We both have shared custody since we are both on the birth certificate. I am a stay at home mom, I have been taking care of my child and so has he but he started paying me $198 a month for about 5 months because my social worker demanded it. in October my sons father put my son in daycare Without My Consent!!! and stopped paying me child support all of a sudden!! I went to my social worker and they gave me a paper to show me how much he owes me in child support including the times hes missed and including INTEREST! My sons father makes me have him on the weekends now but I personally think he is doing this because his girlfirend (That he has cheated on me with when I was 7 and half months pregnant) Keeps telling him to take me to court and get SOLE custody and the court papers say he wants me to have supervised visits as if I'm some crack head or something (I DO NOT DO DRUGS) I am a good mother and take care of my son better then my sons father (his sisters and his girlfirned take care of my son and pick him up from day care since my sons father works 9-5 Job) when my son is with me he gets my FULL attention I am a young single beautiful mother and live on my own and make sure there is breakfast lunch and dinner on the table for my son at all times, I bath him at all times he is with me and take him with me everywhere i go when he is with me. Is the smell from my turtle tank affecting my lungs?

I recently upgraded to a larger size turtle tank which also means that it is more inconvenient to clean. I'm only able to clean it about once a month and it always smells really bad. I have a good quality filter that clears up most of the waste but it still stinks. There is also a small patch of mold on the rock that my Turtle uses to sun bathe on. I have a coworker who is female so am I she comes around me and wants me to talk to her but she doesn't like me.
