Is newspaper ink polar or non-polar?

If what you say is true about it rubbing off onto your fingers, it is nonpolar. Since oil are mostly nonpolar and according to the rule of thumb(no pun intended) of like dissolves like, nonpolar molecules are attracted to each other. Therefore, oil is attracted to the ink on the newspaper(or vice versa)
