Can you make home made lipgloss/lipstick out of a rose/flower? And how?

My neighbor has a rose bush and i pivked one. I really love the color and was curious if i could make some kind of lip gloss or somethibg with it. How would i do that? I know some lipsticks or lipglosses are made from. The pigment of flowers. Can someone tell me the steps to do this?
