Why can't I sing? I feel like I want it more than anything...?

I'm 15 years old and I've been thinking of becoming a musician recently, mainly in playing electric guitars in a band but over these few weeks I've been desiring to sing. My inspirations in music like Trent Reznor, Marilyn Manson, and Maynard James Keenan have beautiful, distinctive, and moving voices, all of which I don't have. I'm unaware if this is just me going through puberty or I just really suck. My voice has no atmosphere like they do, it sounds so bland and dull...Is there anything I can do to improve my singing skills and what to avoid and such?
